Hello Sandra:
I saw your ad in the January 2017 issue of Guitar Player. I am trying to identify the 24 fret Black Cherry solid body guitar in the ad. Can you help me? Thanks.
David
The guitar to which you are referring is the ESP E-II Eclipse Flame Maple, Cherry Sunburst
Hi Sandra,
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question, I’m looking to buy an amplifier, the are both made by the same company and are of a similar ilk, however they have a different valve configuration.
do you know the pros and cons of both set-ups
1
Pre Amp Valves: 2x 12AX7
Power Amp Valves: 2x EL84
2
preamp: 3x 12AX7
power amplifier: 1x EL84
Thanks Jon
Hi Jon, Honestly this isn’t much to go on but odds are good that one is a lower output. It would be best to connect with the manufacturer of the amplifiers for the specs and side by side comparative as they know their equipment best.
