Here is a story that can be appreciated by both musicians and audiophiles alike.

In 1973 the Grateful Dead found themselves in an unusual situation, although one many musicians would love to be in.  When their concert at Watkins Glen Raceway gathered a crowd of over 4 times what was expected, it became clear they were going to need MORE POWER.  Strings were pulled, helicopters commandeered and McIntosh came to the rescue.
